The report provides a broad and deep analytical look at Armenia's competitiveness and uses growth toolsets to uncover the binding constraints on long-term growth. The report is aimed at fostering informed dialogue among key stakeholders in public and private sectors to set an agenda for removing growth constraints, facilitating investments and enhancing competitiveness.

 

 

NATIONAL COMPETITIVENESS REPORT OF ARMENIA 2011-2012

The current report looks at the discourse between the public and private sectors in Armenia which is heavily dominated by a few topics centered around regulatory environments, particularly tax and customs administration. These are critical issues, but the agenda and actions required for tackling them are largely straightforward. Action is required. Intellectual deliberations will not be very helpful.

NATIONAL COMPETITIVENESS REPORT OF ARMENIA 2009

The report studies Armenia's present competitveness performance and main microeconomic metrics, and highlights major changes from 2008. It focuses particularly on the impact of the economic crisis on Armenia's economic system by revealing its specifics which is the result of the specularities of the country's economic system. It studies performance of Armenia's innovation system by employing the most widespread analytical frameworks.

NATIONAL COMPETITIVENESS REPORT OF ARMENIA 2008

In this report Armenia’s economic performance is measured in comparison with regional peers and comparator countries. The traditional list of countries (CIS and CEE) is complemented by a select list of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean countries we refer to as Eurasian crossroad countries. Beyond historical and cultural connotations this choice is based on the country positioning options proposed in ACR. Ireland has been chosen as a benchmark country.
